Buck Young (1920-2000) was an American actor. He was Brother-in-law of Patricia O'Rourke and Wayne Morris. Buck started acting in 1952, in an uncredited role in "Angel Face". In 1965, Young played Deputy Joe Watson in The Andy Griffith Show. Later, he played Sergeant Whipple from 1964-1966. His last credit was for Columbo from 1978-1992.
