Carl Griffith (left)
Carl Griffith (August 10, 1894 - January 19, 1975) is the father of Andy Griffith. In his only appearance on The Andy Griffith Show, he walks by his son and Alan Hale Jr. in the episode The Farmer Takes a Wife.
