Summary[]
When Andy and Barney get tired of Goober tagging along on their dates, they decide to try teaching him how to act around women and then get him to ask a girl on a date. It proves to be quite a project.
Plot[]
Barney and Andy have a problem and his name is Goober. It seems that anytime they go out on a date with their girlfriends, Thelma Lou and Helen, Goober seems to suddenly appear and joins them. Wanting to be able to have some private time with their girlfriends, they decide that there's only one solution: for Goober to find himself a girlfriend. That proves to be somewhat of a challenge for the awkward and shy garage mechanic. He sets his sights on Lydia Crosswaithe but when he calls on her he can barely say hello let alone have a conversation. It's left to Barney to teach him how to go out with a girl and on what to do on a date.
Notes/Trivia[]
When Goober pays a visit to Lydia's home, we discover that Lydia's house number is 598.
