Herbie Faye (February 2, 1899 - June 28, 1980) appeared in episodes of The Andy Griffith Show, Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. and Mayberry R.F.D. He played Corporal Fender on the TV series "Sgt. Bilko". His film appearances include Requiem for a Heavyweight, The Patsy, The Disorderly Orderly, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (with Don Knotts), The Fortune Cookie, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Disney's Blackbeard's Ghost, Angel in My Pocket (with Andy Griffith), The Love God? (with Don Knotts), Who Is Harry Kellerman and Melvin and Howard.
