John Stephenson (August 9, 1923 - May 15, 2015) appeared in two episodes of Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. He played bit parts in several films and TV series, however he is mainly remembered as a voice actor in Hanna-Barbera cartoons, including the voice of Mr. Slate on "The Flintstones".
