Karen Moore is Thelma Lou's cousin from out of town. During her visit, Barney and Thelma Lou set her up on a date with Andy. She is a champion skeet-shooter, and after she gets angry at Andy for "putting her to the test" on their date, she beats him in a skeet-shooting championship- proving to him, that he doesn't know everything about her.
