Maxine Semon (April 8, 1909 - October 18, 1985) appeared in episodes of The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. She played the recurring characters of Mrs. Jillson on "The Joey Bishop Show" and Mabel Snark on "Petticoat Junction". Her film appearances include The Falcon in San Francisco, The Shocking Miss Pilgrim, The Gangster, The Opposite Sex, The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (starring Don Knotts), and the Disney films The Million Dollar Duck and Bedknobs and Broomsticks.
