Michael J. Pollard (May 30, 1939 - November 21, 2019) appeared in one episode of The Andy Griffith Show. He played the recurring character of Jerome Krebbs, the temporary replacement of Maynard G. Krebbs, on "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis". His film appearances include It Happened to Jane, Hemingway's Adventures of a Young Man, The Stripper, Disney's Summer Magic, The Russians Are Coming the Russians Are Coming, The Wild Angels, Enter Laughing, Caprice, Bonnie and Clyde (for which he received both Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations), Little Fauss and Big Halsy, Dirty Little Billy, Four of the Apocalypse, Between the Lines, Melvin and Howard, Roxanne, Scrooged, Next of Kin, Tango & Cash, Dick Tracy, Another You, Arizona Dream, Mad Dog Time, Tumbleweeds and House of 1000 Corpses.
