Summary[]
Warren starts Otis, the town drunk, on a therapeutic art career.
Plot[]
Warren fancies himself something of an artist and works with mosaics. He's surprised that Otis, a reliable hard working citizen during the week, is a drunkard on the weekends and decides that what the man needs is a hobby. Otis soon throws himself into his art but the results are exactly what you would want to put on the living room wall - which is exactly what Andy has to do when Otis gives him a large mosaic of a brown cow. It turns out that there is one certain way to ensure that Otis does his best work.
Notes/Trivia[]
- Otis's weekday job is at the furniture factory, where he is a glue-dipper. This is the only mention of his job in the series.
- Otis has an imaginary dog, whom he calls Spot. He tries to sic it on Warren. Later, a real dog accompanies a drunken Otis as he stumbles into the courthouse, but he is apparently invisible to his master.
