Writer and Actor, Pat McCormick
Pat McCormick (June 30, 1927 - July 29, 2005) co-wrote with Ron Friedman two episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. He also wrote episodes of the TV series "Candid Camera", "I've Got a Secret", "The Danny Kaye Show" (for which he received an Emmy Award nomination), "The Jimmy Dean Show", "Get Smart", "The Red Skelton Hour" and "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson (for which he received another Emmy nomination). He received another Emmy nomination for the Bette Midler special "Ol' Red Hair Is Back". As a popular comedian and character actor, he appeared on "The Don Rickles Show" and "The Tonight Show" and in the films Buffalo Bill and the Indians, The Shaggy D.A., Smokey and the Bandit, Scavenger Hunt, Smokey and the Bandit II, History of the World: Part I, Under the Rainbow, Smokey and the Bandit: Part 3 and Scrooged.
