Richard M. Powell (December 15, 1916 - October 20, 1996) wrote four episodes each of The Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. He also wrote episodes of the TV series "The Courtship of Eddie's Father", "Hogan's Heroes", "The Doris Day Show", "M*A*S*H", "Mary Tyler Moore", "Quincy M.E." and "Charlie's Angels".
