Stuart Nisbet (January 17, 1934 - June 23, 2016) appeared in episodes of Gomer Pyle U.S.M.C. and Mayberry R.F.D. His film appearances include two with Don Knotts, The Shakiest Gun in the West and How to Frame a Figg and two with Andy Griffith, Angel in My Pocket and Hearts of the West. He was also in In the Heat of the Night, Yours Mine and Ours, Earthquake, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Oh God!, The Fabulous Baker Boys, Police Academy: Mission to Moscow, Murder in the First and Casino.
